Welcome to The Maroon & White Fund

A New Day Begun in Giving to Morehouse College

As evidenced throughout the higher education community, males of African descent fail,
at alarming rates, to persist to college graduation.

One significant reason, amongst many, is the need of sufficient financial support. The Maroon & White Fund (TheMWF), a 501-(c) 3 non profit alumni, friends, and family support entity devoted to the educational mission, vision, fiscal goals and objectives of Morehouse College, aims to eradicate student financial hardship and enhance the overall financial capacity of Morehouse College via annual social and cultural fundraising events.

Through these events and ongoing educational efforts, the fund also seeks to expand the network of alumni, friends, and supporters who contribute to the college on a frequent and sustained basis. The upcoming inaugural fundraising initiative will lay the ground work in our efforts to positively impact the lives of students, faculty, and staff of Morehouse for many years to come.

Great Quote:

"Capacity preeminence means having the independent capital to sustain a superior physical, financial, human and operational infrastructure. For Morehouse and all other Historically Black Colleges & Universities, capacity preeminence is the great unfinished business!"

Dr. John S. Wilson
-11th President of Morehouse College
